As part of the programme, James has successfully completed his International Compliance Association (ICA) Diploma, a respected industry qualification that requires a high level of commitment, discipline and dedication. James joined aspida as a career changer from outside the financial services industry, having previously worked for the States of Guernsey Joint Emergency Services Control Centre. Over the course of the three-year programme, he has developed the technical knowledge and practical skills required to build a successful career in compliance and advisory services. Supported by mentors and structured training, he has progressed to leading client engagements, helping organisations strengthen their onboarding processes, enhance due diligence measures and improve their wider compliance frameworks. He is now a valued member of the team, contributing to complex client projects while continuing to develop his professional expertise.
