"The trainee programme has given me a great base for my career, including exposure to multiple sectors and various aspects of risk and compliance. I’m looking forward to the coming years as I continue my own development and assist the newer trainees joining the business."
"It has been a wonderful opportunity, allowing me to gain my advanced certificate and diploma with the ICA as well as personal development within the role. It has been a great kick start for my career progression and I am excited to share my experience and knowledge with our future trainees."
Bee McDaid and Dan Radford were the initial members of aspida’s trainee programme in 2019, designed to ensure that the future workforce of our governance, risk and compliance advisory businesses had the necessary skills and aptitude to maximise the benefits of our technology platform and added value people overlay.
Peter Mills, Joint Chair, explains “shortages of compliance and risk experienced individuals have been a challenge for some time, we identified this and wanted to invest in our future leaders. Our culture is such that this is as much about helping the next generation as it is about meeting our business needs and those of our clients”.
